Today we will talk about Tangents for Hurdy-gurdy.Tangents are known to be made of wood or metal. On the one hand, wooden tangents have a nice sound without their resonance and a resonance of string part between a nut and a tangent on a pressed key. On the other hand, metal tangents are more stable and easy to adjust. As they are smaller then wooden ones, they can be used with three and more chanterelles.
I tried all of them.Fortunately, we have a new solution.
Our tangents can be adjusted like metal ones – they can be moved left, right and also back and forth. They are small, durable and a little bit flexible. Flexibility mutes unwanted buzzing. Geometry of this details helps control pitch in wide range. Similarly, humidity cannot affect on this material.
In conclusion It’s a great update for our gurdies.
